Bellamy Young

Young began her acting career through theatre. In 1997 she had her Broadway debut as Mary in the original actors of The Life. She appeared Off Broadway as a character in Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily we to Roll along (1994) and Randy Newman's Faust, (1995-1996). 3][10] In 1995 she made her television debut as a regular on The NBC daytime soap the show Another World as Dr. Courtney Evans. [7] She guest-starred on Law & Order in 1997 and 1998, in two distinct role. Her debut on film came in 1999 with one minor part in Black and White. In the years following, she appeared in various independent films. Then, in the beginning of 2000s, she started appearing as guest-star in a variety of comedy and drama shows on television, like The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Young has appeared on over 30 TV shows between 2000 and 2011. Young was regularly cast in the USA Network series Peacemakers in 2003. Peacemakers was pulled after a season with nine episodes. She was the Deputy Dist. on The Lifetime television drama For the People. Atty. Agnes Hunt on NBC drama American Dreams in 2003 as Diane Shaw, Dr. Grace Miller on NBC Scrubs in 2004 as Monica West, Assistant State Attorney Monica West in CBS CSI: Miami between 2005 and 2006 as well as Ellen Darling on ABC soap Dirty Sexy Money in 2008-2009 as the son-in-law with the most eldest in the Darling Family.
